Ricki Linksman is also the founder-director of National Reading Diagnostics Institute, headquartered in Naperville, Illinois, near Chicago, a training institution to help people of all ages accelerate learning and improve their reading comprehension through Superlinksā„¢ a system she developed using neuroscience and brain research, learning styles, and brain styles. Through Ricki Linksman’s methods, people can improve their performance on their job and in their studies. By improving comprehension and memory of what they read, people can excel in any field. Through diagnostic testing her methods include developing an individual prescriptive plan followed by coaching, teaching, and tutoring students from pre-K, kindergarten, Grades 1 through Grades 12, college, to adult learners. Ricki has been serving students in public and private schools throughout the country and around the world. Whenever she has set up the system of accelerated learning and accelerated reading in schools, those schools have raised test scores and achievement through her methods within less than one school year. Test scores raised include CTBS, SAT, ACT, and ISAT (Illinois State Achievement Test). Her program has also been used to prepare students for career examinations in diverse fields, such as medicine and law.
Ricki Linksman is also the developer of Keys to Reading Success, an Internet-based pre-K, kindergarten, grades 1 through 12, and college reading program to use accelerated learning techniques and learning styles and brain hemispheric preference strategies to teach students to learn to read or improve reading within four to eight months or less. The average success rate is 98-99% of all K-12 students using the program rise 2-5 grade levels in reading in 6-8 months, including students in regular education, special education, ELL, ESL, ESOL, bi-lingual and dual language, Title 1 or Remedial Reading, and gifted programs (and those with ADD or ADHD). Ricki also developed the Superlinks to Accelerated Learning program with its Linksman Learning Style Preference Assessment and Brain Hemispheric Preference Assessment, used to discover a person’s best Superlink (learning style and brain style) to accelerate learning.
Her award-winning phonics program, specially designed for kinesthetic and tactile learners, both left brain and right brain, is called Off the Wall Phonicsā„¢. It allows students to learn to master every phonics patterns in the English language to move someone from beginning reading to college-level word reading ability within 10 game levels, of 10 games each. If followed, any student can raise their word-reading level, which can help their reading comprehension, by playing one game level per week for ten weeks, and studies have proven the average raise in word-reading level to be two to five grade levels in reading in that time.
She has worked as a consultant to golf instructors to improve teaching of golf through Superlinks to Accelerated Learningā„¢ learning styles. Ricki has worked as a consultant to businesses, companies, and educational institutions to help people accelerate and improve learning in any field.
